Write, Share, Read, Learn. Welcome to Writing with Wings, where I attempt to help others through writing. Creating stories has always been my passion from a young age. My goal is connect with other writers, share ideas, and find out what people are mainly reading. I also want to throw in some advice of my own here and there. Leave a comment on Writing with Wings.
Glossophobia is the fear of public speaking. The word glossophobia comes from the Greek γλῶσσα glōssa. Meaning tongue, and φόβος phobos. Glossophobia is the technical term given to a severe fear of public speaking. People who suffer from glossophobia tend to freeze in front of any audience, even a couple of people. They find their mouth dries up, their voice is weak and their body starts shaking. They may even sweat, go red and feel their heart thumping rapidly.
What Everybody Ought To Know About Glossophobia. I remember being terrified when I was called upon to do a presentation in college. I had the slides ready, I had the notes prepared. And I just stood there. I remember feeling exposed and embarassed. Lucky for me, my assignment buddy took over. But I do not want to feel that way again. Do you feel the same way? What would that be? .
